A four time world champion Carissa was born and raised in Honolulu, her father taught her how to surf at the age of five years old.

Her surfing is powerful, smooth and graceful and from an early age she racked an amazing amount of contest wins, which is no surprise that at the age of 18, she became the youngest surfer to win a world title.

But Carissa is not just known by her for her innovating surfing, she is also known for her work helping younger girls developing their skills and confidence in order to pursue their dreams.

A true role model and ambassador of Aloha in and out of the water.
