I don’t know much about Avalon Gall, I just know that her name means beautiful mystical island, no doubt about her beauty or her islander look, as a matter of fact when I chose to paint her, I was convinced that she lived on the North Shore.

This painting was inspired by a photo that Ezequiel Rivero took of her while surfing in Mexico, her footwork and flawless style makes her look as if she was dancing on her tiptoes and basically that is what attracted me to paint her.
