Little wing

Funny how music can trigger the creative mind, on December of 2019, I was hanging up my artwork at the Volcom house at Pipeline, from the lanai I could see Coco Ho gliding on those perfectly smooth waves that were breaking in front of the house. Those images of her surfing stayed in the back of my mind all week long.

A couple of days later , I was listening to the great Jimmy Hendrix and when “Little wing” started playing, I instantly thought of Coco’s wave ridding, lucky I had my sketchbook in front of me. I think it was Pablo Picasso that said “when inspiration comes, it better find you working”
