For the past decade, I’ve been spotting shots of @mrtoots all over the web — always with those perfectly placed hands guiding his posture into the most stylish rides.
About two months ago, I ran into him on Kalakaua Ave while checking the surf during a South Swell. To my surprise, he knew who I was — so I figured it was time to paint him.
Here’s “Mr Toots” — hands leading the way — inspired by a Tommy Pierucky photo.
