Right before I started to work on this surfboard series, I was designing a new swimwear line that we will be launching this September at the Milano Fashion week in Italy.
I guess that my mind was still set on designer’s mode when I started working on this show, since this was the first board I made. Pretty sure this will end up as part of the SEAY Bikini collection for next summer.

Original art on surfboard, this board has been shaped on a repurposed polyurethane blank, using acrylic paints and Posca markers underneath the polyester resin that has a gloss polished finish.
73×19″, comes with stainless steel hanging brackets.
Although the surfboard shape is meant to be functional, it’s not meant to be surfed on, but to be displayed as an art piece.
