KOLOHE ANDINO

Son of world famous pro surfer Dino Andino, Kolohe Andino was the first American surfer to qualify for the USA Olympic surf team, his radical approach and strong performances earned him the spot in October, before the WSL’s Olympic-qualifying season ended.

An ankle surgery kept him out of the first half of the 2021 World Surf League season, but he’s coming back to full strength and ready for surfing’s Olympic Games debut.
Kolohe won seven USA Surfing Champion titles.

This piece is part of the exhibit “Golden Dreams” a surfboard installation created to honor and celebrate the first US surfing team to compete in the Olympics.

Each board on this installation represents one of the Olympic colors.

This exhibit will stay at the Outrigger Waikiki hotel until the end of the year, if you decide to purchase this piece, a red dot will be placed next to it and the surfboard  will be sent to you on the first week of January 2022.

A 16×20 limited edition print of the five surfboards will be available in early August, a portion of the sales will go to the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation.
