This is another version of one of my favorite paintings. It’s a reflexion of what makes people from this island so unique, the warmth, the Aloha, the look in their deep dark eyes. Gauguin must have been the first European artist to paint Polynesian women or at least the most famous one, I don’t pretend to be a modern Gauguin but I guess that I am captivated by the same looks that inspired the French painter in Tahiti.
